On the day of delivery, a demonstration of the Ice 2 Action system is made and proper application is completed by one of our consultants on the patient, along with visual and video user guides provided for the patient.

Usage
Rental periods run for 2 weeks, but more recently our clients have extended their usage up to 4 weeks.
Initial Week: Focus on 20-minute intervals with low or moderate compression, tailored to the patient’s pain and discomfort levels.
Second Week: Transition to 20-minute intervals with moderate or high compression, based on the patient’s preference.

A few days prior to the end of the rental period, the patient is contacted to confirm the collection. Additionally, this communication also addresses any requests for an extension of the rental period.
Ice must be administered at the patient's discretion. The consultant shall enlighten the nursing staff regarding the device's use, especially if they are not well-acquainted with it, and will indicate that ice will be requested from the patient.
The initial application of the Ice 2 Action system will hinge on the surgeon's preference. This device has demonstrated safety for use on the first day following surgery.
